A New Year

I am going to try and steer away from resolutions and the cliche' of what a new year brings--how I am going to change, what I am going to differently and/or accomplish this year. It is pointless, goals shouldnt just be set on January 1st--especially when a majority of those resolutions are thrown out by the time January has ended.

I would like to take this time to update everyone of the ongoins of my life. Still working (still loving it) that is nothing new. Christmas was wonderful, and though I am blessed to within a short drive of (most of my friends) I it has become harder and harder to find time to spend with them as well as my family. Time off from work gave me that opportunity and much needed rest. Between Christmas parties, driving to Mcadinville for Christmas lights and a bit of Christmas spiritI was spoiled once again my Santa (aka my parents) this Christmas.

New Years was fun and once again a nice opportunity to spend with my friends. We went out to Michelle's house agian this year. We did appetizers, and despite the begging and pleading of some of the guys to NOT go downtown (uptown--whatever its all the same) we did anyways. I drove with Jonathan, Ryan Epley and Will accompaning me. With my Usher CD Will & Epley decided to do their own redition of "Yeah" and insesvilly screaming WHAT and "YEAH" I got the hint and proceeded to change the selection of the music. It took our group about an hour and a half to figure out we were bored and tired of hearing the guys complain--since their were explosives aka fireworks back at Michelle's. And I was tired of getting hit on by skanky guys. We went back to Michelle's and they guys did their thing...being stupid with fire is their thing! No one got hurt again this year, so I know the guys are antipating the next time they have an excuse to set fireworks over the lake and play with fire.

Overall I would have to say that this holiday season was great.
